Our Qualifications: The doctors of Acupuncture Associates are all licensed Doctors of Oriental Medicine, trained locally at Southwest Acupuncture College, one of the top schools in the country. Together, we have decades of experience in the field; Dr. Tapia-Reyes herself has been performing acupuncture for more than 13 years.
Dr. Tapia-Reyes is currently the Owner and Medical Director of Acupuncture Associates of America where she has been practicing for over 13 years.
Dr. Tapia-Reyes has an undergraduate degree in psychology and a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. Her extensive experience includes acupuncture at several treatment centers and firms including state facilities and private organizations.
Dr. Nuttall’s treatment style incorporates both TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) acupuncture and alternative Japanese style modalities. Infrared heat, Tuina massage technique, occasional electrical stimulation on needles, moxibustion, herbal formula strategies, when needed, are also integral components in his patient treatments.
